Before your abortion you will need a pregnancy test to verify you are pregnant.

Our Center has medical grade urine tests that are over 99% accurate after a missed period. During this pregnancy test appointment, you also have the opportunity to talk about abortion and your options with an advocate.

Our ultrasounds determine if the pregnancy is in the uterus and if there is a heartbeat. During the appointment, our nurse will also discuss abortion methods with you related to the gestational age.

You need to make sure you do not have an STI/STD (Sexually Transmitted Infection or Disease). STI/STD’s can spread further during an abortion and cause further complications. Our clinic provides free STI/STD testing for five of the most common STI/STDs: Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, & Herpes 1 & 2.

The Hope Center has a licensed medical professional on staff that will provide you with, truthful, science-based information using state-of-the-art ultrasounds, medical grade testing, and education on all positive STI/STD tests. All of this is overseen by our medical director.
